Recognition for BEC, BULATS, ILEC and ICFE

All Cambridge ESOL Professional English Exams are recognized by educational organizations, employers, immigration authorities and government bodies across the world. They are also recognized by their respective professional organizations.

Business English Certificates ( BEC )

BEC is a highly recognized and transferable qualification that showcases your skills in using English in the workplace. There are three levels of BEC :

BEC Preliminary ( P ); BEC Vantage ( V ) and BEC Higher ( H )

BEC - Preliminary - Level B1

Tests the ability to read reports and charts, and to write a short memo or email. It also tests the ability to use English for short phone conversations and to make brief business presentations.

BEC - Vantage - B2

Candidates will have to show they can use English to write a letter, read longer business reports and listen to, understand and contribute to discussions on business topics.

BEC - Higher - C1

BULATS - Business Language Testing Service - Levels A1 - C2

For companies and individuals who need a rapid, accurate means of assessing language skills for recruitment, training, benchmarking and staff development.

BULATS offers :

BULATS is a multilingual system, available in English, French, German and Spanish.

ILEC - International Legal English Certificate - Levels B2 - C1

The Cambridge ILEC, produced in collaboration with the TransLegal Group, is a high-level language qualification that demonstrates to employers and clients that you have the skills to work effectively with international law.

ICFE - International Certificate in Financial English - Levels B2-C1

To meet the demand for helping finance professionals demonstrate the financial English skills they need,the ACCA ( Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) along with Cambridge ESOL have developed the ICFE.
