Cambridge ESOL Exams for Schools are based on the premise that learning English while young gives children an advantage that stays with them all their lives. With this thought in mind Cambridge ESOL has developed the Cambridge Young Learners (YLE) to get children of primary school age and upwards on the path to learning English.

YLE- Young Learners English

YLE - Three Levels

YLE has three progressive levels of tests - Starters, Movers and Flyers; for children between the ages of 7 and 11.

Fun while learning !

Children enjoy studying for and taking the Cambridge Young Learners English tests. There are many tasks such as drawing and colouring, as well as speaking to an examiner, which motivate and inspire.

An Award for everyone

The Cambridge YLE papers are marked by examiners in the UK  and awards are issues by Cambridge ESOL. These awards, with shields for each language skill (reading and writing, listening and speaking), measure the child's performance accurately.
